Cell Phone Users Now Included in Health Department’s Annual Telephone Survey
The Community Health Survey (CHS) is an annual telephone survey used by the Health Department to monitor the health of New Yorkers. As part of the 2008 CHS, the Health Department included a Cell Phone Pilot Survey to collect information from New Yorkers who could only be reached by cell phone. Starting with the 2009 CHS, cell-only adults will be included to ensure a representative sample of adult New Yorkers.
