HARLEM— A 17-year-old Harlem teen reported missing by his family was found dead Sunday near his home.

Gregory Willis Jr. was last seen leaving his apartment at the Abraham Lincoln Houses at 2120 Madison Ave. at about 4 p.m. on Jan. 19.

Police responded to a call on Sunday at 2140 Madison Ave. for an unconscious male. Police determined that the unconscious teen was Willis.

Paramedics responded and Willis was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say there were no signs of trauma.

The Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy to determine the cause of death, police said.

A person named Lashon who said he was Willis' brother, posted a comment on DNAinfo's website begging the public for help to find his brother.

"If anyone has any information on him please send it," Lashon wrote. "He is my older brother. I have lost my father and I don't want to lose my brother either. Please help."
