COMMUNITIES AGAINST VIOLENCE

 

The People’s Organization for Progress will sponsor a bus to Penns

Grove, NJ to support the family of Moshon Leach, an unarmed 31 year

old former resident of Penns Grove, NJ, who was beaten to death at

Penns Village Apartments in Penns Grove by police officers from

several jurisdictions including Penns Grove, Carney Point, Pennsville,

Salem and the NJ State Police on Sunday, March 21st.

 

The bus will leave from 53 Lincoln Park at 9:00am on Saturday, June

12, 2010.  The first stop will be at the Masonic Temple #20 in Penns

Grove, corner of Park and Smith Avenues.  The bus will then carpool in

caravan to 457 East Broadway, Salem, NJ (parking lot of Incolligno’s

Market).  People will then march to 92 Market Street, Salem, NJ to the

Prosecutors Office.  Then will march from the Prosecutors office to

123 West Broadway, Salem, NJ to the Police Station (across from Post

Office).

 

Please come to POP meeting tonight, 6:30pm at 224 West Kinney Street,

Newark, NJ to meet the family of Moshon Leach speak about the case.

 

The cost for the bus ride is $20.
