June 27, 2010: Free Reading Series continues at Indian Cafe

The Red Harlem Readers will present a concert reading of a new play, Uncle Tom's Women, by Laurence Holder. a character study of Eleanor Roosevelt, read by Cordis Heard, and Mary McLeod Bethune, read by Richarda Abrams, as they help steer the United States to a more tolerant society which is being shredded by the "color" and class issues.

The FREE event will be hosted by the Indian Café at 2791 Broadway, between 107th and 108th Streets on Sunday, June 27, at 4:00 with discussion to follow. The weekly reading event includes FREE spice tea. Other food and beverages are also available.
