The Town of Capitol Heights Police Department is currently accepting applications on an ongoing basis to fill potential future openings. In order to be considered, applicants must be eligible for certification in Maryland as a Police Officer (previously MD certified applicants) or eligible for certification in Maryland after the completion of a compliance academy (completed a basic law enforcement class, accepted by the State of Maryland, at least 800 hours long for the basic class).
