FAA Certifies First 2 Types Of Drones For Civilian Use

WASHINGTON — Federal regulators say they have certified two types of unmanned aircraft for civilian use, a milestone expected to lead to the first approved commercial drone operations later this summer. The Federal Aviation Administration said Friday the drones are Insitu's Scan Eagle X200 and AeroVironment's PUMA. Both weigh less than 55 pounds, are about 4.5 feet long and have wingspans of 9 to 10 feet. Read More... More on Drones

New Interactive Map Breaks Down, Analyzes NYPD Crash Data

The NYPD's been burping out monthly crash data since City Council mandated they publish collision information back in 2011. But if you need something a little more comprehensive than an Excel spreadsheet or PDF to pinpoint problematic intersections, you're in luck—a new collision map will let you analyze two years of NYPD crash data, breaking down the information by category and highlighting crash-prone areas via heat map. Reminder: Boycott America on Tuesday, July 23 - Also,

In Memory of Councilman James E. Davis-
Murder at City Hall of Councilman James E. Davis
there will be a Vigil at City Hall on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 1:00pm to mark the Tenth Anniversary of his Death.
Take the 4, 5 or 6 trains to Brooklyn Bridge City Hall.

Do not shop, do not buy one thing, and wear black on Tuesday, July 23. This is a forwarded message to show our solidarity as well as our displeasure about the outcome of the Trayvon Martin verdict.

Even though I am in support of these efforts, as far as the "Boycott of America" is concerned as well as all these rallies, what frustrates me is to what end? We hop from problem to problem exhausting ourselves. Fighting for Restitution aims to correct all of these issues, provides answers, and ways to go about attaining these answers.

So, every month since January, we- The Committee to Collect in partnership and agreement with N'COBRA, Juneteenth Movement, and We The People U.S. Citizens have been circulating a document that we, each individual - all of us, need to be stampeding to our local congressional offices on the fourth Friday of every month, until we receive Restitution for Blacks in America.

We will continue to do this until we collectively wake up and see that us coming together not only makes sense, it is technically the only way we will annihilate oppression. To achieve freedom, equality, respect, and ultimately sovereignty, we must stop chasing our tails and realize that all of our dilemmas basically have the same root cause: Stop and Frisk, Stand Your Ground and other unjust laws, Housing issues, Hospitals Closing, lack of employment, Colleges performing blatant ethnic cleansing, Lynching of our Brothers, the Raping of our Sisters, and my biggest gripe, the mis-education of our children, all stem from white supremacy.

The time is now to wipe out oppression. I knew in my heart-of-hearts that President Obama was going to stand within these last four years of his tenure. We have to now follow-up and follow-through.

Standing,
Dr. Jackie
